Goodbye

I will be closing my site at the end of 2024.

While I still intend to explore and bike all 50 states, my time line has changed and the social connection of my journey is not worthwhile anymore.

Posting to Youtube put pressure on me that distracted from my enjoyment of the sport. The reality of moving away from the mountain biking mecca of Colorado to the wastelands of the midwest resulting in a drop on viewership and engagement. Let’s face it, midwest riding is just not that exciting unless you are big into tricks and jumps. That is not me.

Mountain biking for me was always about the journey. A mechanism to get away into wild places and to get divorced from the complexities of modern life. I’m simplifying my life and that started with the abandonment of my Youtube journey and now my Roaming50 domain.

So it is Goodbye.
